Where taste sensations meet nature's delights
Haus Dorfner in Montan lies at the foot of Trudner Horn Nature Park at an altitude of 1,000 metres. The sun terrace for guests takes care of rest and relaxation, while the house restaurant caters for culinary delights. Guests may enjoy wonderful views of the Unterland Valley and Mendel mountain ridge and across to the 'Muthöfe' farms near Meran.
The family business is run by Anton and Christiane. Anton's parents, who used to run it, still enjoy helping out and, together, the Dalvai family fills the house with passion and life. In the restaurant, which belongs to the 'Südtiroler Gasthäuser' restaurant group, great importance is placed on regional and seasonal fare, with much of what is served at breakfast and dinner being produced and processed by the hosts themselves.
Regionality and nature go hand in hand here: a trip to Trudner Horn Nature Park is practically a must. This may be explored on foot or by bike and is a special highlight of this quiet area.
