Enjoying life, experiencing new things and relaxing in a sunny corner of Marling
Haus Sonnegg, set amidst orchards on the southern edge of the village of Marling, is a place to relax and unwind. The sun shines down on the garden and sunbathing lawn here, where there is plenty of space for children to play. Views are drawn to the Meran-Merano valley basin and across the Etschtal Valley and Überetsch Valley, over fruit and wine farms, the Marlinger Berg and Schloss Lebenberg.
Thomas und Maria Hölzl take care of guests' wellbeing. Rosa Hölzl has been the heart and soul of the house for 50 years and helps out where she can. A family atmosphere and personal contact are of utmost importance for the host family – guests can ask their hosts for a variety of tips on events, shops and excursions at any time.
The day is sure to start off well with the substantial breakfast or fresh bread rolls provided for guests in the holiday flat! An eventful time is likely to follow, as Haus Sonnegg is a partner of the Meran Thermal Baths and offers guests the MeranCard from November to June free of charge.
