Fantastic location in a family atmosphere
The Garni Reider is located in the hamlet of Salonetto, on the Tschögglberg plateau not far from Meltina. This historic house is an ideal place for active holidaymakers and families to stay. There are a grocer’s shop and bus stop close by, while a bus service for skiers and walkers can take guests to the Merano 2000 resort or up to the Salten. The cable car service down to the Etschtal Valley is just 1.5 km away. Depending upon your location, from the house can be seen the peak of the Laugenspitze, the garden or down the Etschtal Valley as far as to the Kalterersee Lake.
Angelika represents the fourth generation of her family to run the business and she and her husband make every effort to ensure their guests will feel at ease. While their parents can relax on a lounger with a book from the library, younger guests can enjoy playing without a care. Your host can offer interesting suggestions for excursions over a glass of good wine, while rucksacks, baby carriers, trekking poles, pushchairs and high chairs can all be loaned to guests!
Breakfast can be enjoyed on the terrace or in the conservatory with homemade produce such as jams, honey, cakes, juices, herbal salt and tea: gluten-free products are available. The family ambience is very much appreciated by guests.
