A holiday in South Tyrol alternating between relaxation and adventure
Appartementhaus Tratter enjoys a quiet, sunny spot at the centre of Salonetto, a district of Meltina. It boasts unique views of the Dolomites, Ötztaler Alps and the southern reaches of South Tyrol as well as having a garden with a playground. The main village of Meltina is just 2.5 km away and the towns of Bolzano-Bozen and Merano-Meran may be reached in just 30 minutes, with a bus stop 100 from the house, too. Thanks to its position, it makes the ideal base for lots of hiking trips and excursions for exploring the local area.
Manuela and Günther run Haus Tratter, with Johanna, the mother, helping out. She is the life and soul of the house and looks after the guests, garden and grocery shop on the ground floor. The hosts have daytime jobs, but whenever they have time, they are there for their guests. The four-year-old twins always look forward to new playmates, too! Sustainability and cleanliness are of great importance to the Tratters, but their priority remains their guests' wellbeing!
A bread delivery service can be provided on request and even a gluten-free breakfast. Free WLAN, a private library and information folder with tips on hikes are available. There are three riding arenas in the area and the house has mountain bikes and e-bikes for hire. Guests particularly appreciate the central, yet very quiet, spot.
