Between traditional and modern in the Gröden Valley
Bon di y bënunì te Sëlva te Gherdëina – Hello and welcome to Gröden! The new La Pluma holiday residence is located in Wolkenstein, just one kilometre from the village centre and 200 metres from the heart of St. Christina. The famous Saslong ski run is also a mere ten-minute walk away, as is the Seceda – both are popular excursion destinations in winter as in summer. The house contains five holiday apartments, plus a wellness area featuring a Finnish sauna, hay sauna, Kneipp bath and a large sun terrace with hot tub. The views from this sunny spot take in the vastness of the Gröden Valley and its imposing mountain peaks.
Brothers Hugo and Adolf let out the La Pluma holiday flats: they uphold Ladin traditions while remaining close to nature. Their aim is to offer guests a unique and perfect holiday combination of luxury and authenticity. Guests are also welcome to visit Adolf, a woodcarver, in his workshop – and the two brothers are always ready with tips for outings.
The name, “La Pluma” is Ladin for “The Feather”, because the family’s Alpine meadow is shaped like a feather. And, because Adolf loves to make carvings of animals, each of the apartments is also named after an animal – so pets are of course also welcome at La Pluma!
