A GREAT “little guesthouse”
With its four small design apartments, the “little guesthouse Rousa” is centrally situated in the village of Oberrasen, in the beautiful Antholz Valley. Old meets new at the Rousa, with historic walls meeting original design. Its wonderful location makes it an ideal starting point for hiking and biking tours in summer, turning even small adventures into great memories; while in winter guests can explore the Kronplatz ski area or the cross-country ski trails down the valley as far as Antholz. The apartments offer views over the welcoming inner courtyard with its lounge area and herb garden, as well as over the Kronplatz mountain and the Olang Dolomites. Finally, the Rousa’s original Stube (wood-panelled snug) is the perfect place to round off the evening: play a game of chess, read a good book, or help yourself to a drink from our trust bar.
The natural surroundings of the Antholz Valley can also be found indoors, all with an eye to sustainability: natural wood floors, low-temperature underfloor heating supplied from the district heating system, LED lighting, water-saving fixtures, a controlled fresh air supply with heat recovery, an in-house recycling station and a green roof.
As hosts, Annalena and her mother Gabi ensure that guests can relax to the full during their stay here. Annalena has a special eye for design and details, and in fact all that is beautiful: she runs a design agency together with her partner Roland. At the Rousa she mostly takes care of relations with guests and is on hand for any questions they may have. Gabi, on the other hand, prepares breakfast, including all sorts of delicious items for vegetarians and vegans too. On request the hosts can also actively help in planning holiday activities: the free Holidaypass offers visitors the chance to join in the tourist association’s weekly events programme, as well as free use of public transport. Guests particularly appreciate the characteristic ambience of the Rousa apartments, where sophisticated design meets the natural ease of local hospitality, both indoors and out.
