The tranquility of the garden and the hum of the spa town
The Humblhof farm is located in Lagundo-Algund, in the little fraction of Plars di Mezzo-Mitterplars, to be precise. Guests not only delight in the wonderful views over the spa town of Merano, the apple orchards and the mountains, but also in the closeness to the town centre of Lagundo and the excellent connection to public transportation. A garden featuring deckchairs and a pretty pond offers peaceful relaxation – and so does the view into the surrounding orchards.
Sieglinde Theiner has been welcoming guests to the Humblhof for 25 years. Her son Hannes, who works as an electrical engineer and is a volunteer firefighter, has taken over the farm in 2017 and supports his mother with the administration and accounting. He also tends the garden and the orchards, while Sieglinde takes care of the house, the kitchen garden, the pond and the animals at the farm – a friendly dog and some chicken – and looks after the guests, of course. The hosts are very proud of the solar power system, which provides environmentally friendly energy, and the informal holiday atmosphere at the farm.
