Our guests are free to arrive any time between 2 pm and 8 pm, and the room can be used up to 10 am on the day of departure.
- On arrival, our guests are treated to a small, complementary seasonal refreshment, such as fruit or a soft drink, in the entrance area.

The Haus Schönau stands just one kilometre outside the town of Castelrotto, with a large sunbathing lawn and a playground for guests large and small, as well as views of Puflatsch and Marinzen from the terrace, with an awesome panorama of the Ritten mountain from behind the house. The Schlern and Santner peaks are visible from the balconies, ideal for inducing relaxation in body, mind and soul.
Landlady Christine Malfertheiner, supported by husband Johann Trocker and children Florian and Annalena, are delighted to welcome their guests to the Haus Schönau. Christine looks after the house, garden and particularly the herb garden, which is the source of her delicious mint syrup. The establishment’s closeness to nature is demonstrated by the use of solar heating and wood, while guests appreciate the family atmosphere, quiet location and spacious holiday apartments.
Fresh bread can be ordered and homemade jams, juices and honey are available, while your hosts’ tips for hiking in the surrounding landscape are a guarantee of adventure!
