One particularly burning question faces us all this year: how should we spend our summer holidays? Are they even possible? And, if so, will we be able to enjoy them with all the strict conditions imposed by the corona crisis? The answer, dear readers, is yes! And I will be delighted to tell you where – with the private landlords of South Tyrol. And I can also tell you why a holiday with the little guys is this year especially worthwhile! :-)

It’s all about you

A holiday just like at home
It doesn’t matter if you choose a small bed and breakfast, an apartment or a private room: the motto of South Tyrol’s private landlords is “a holiday just like at home”! :-) A feeling that is becoming ever more important right now, as while on holiday in the privacy of your four walls you can live just as you do at home, without having to worry about distancing rules or facemasks. A homely atmosphere is thus exactly what we all need at the moment, with protection and security, but also the option of being able to move around autonomously and freely. And also finally to be able to immerse yourself in the picturesque holiday landscape of South Tyrol!

In the midst of paradise
Irrespective of whether you find yourself in the Vinschgau Valley, the Eisack Valley, in Bozen and environs , Meran and environs or the Dolomites: the accommodation offered by our private landlords can be found throughout the finest areas and villages of South Tyrol. You can start directly from the front door to explore the beautiful surroundings – South Tyrol has something for everyone to enjoy! Historic cities, deep forests, scenic trails and spectacular mountain scenery, all without being overwhelmed by crowds. In my last blog post I mentioned some tips for South Tyrol’s quieter side, where you are sure to find something to your taste. :-)

Flexibility
Private landlords too will this year have to prepare for their guests differently than before, with health of course paramount. Nevertheless, flexibility in booking and during your stay is still a given – simply contact your hosts directly and tell them your concerns!

Specialist care – with specialists who care

Each one of our private landlords is an expert. By that I mean that they can all offer holiday help and advice, as well as special tips and tricks! They specialise in hikers, bikes , cities and even pets. Many of them are also extremely familiar with more than one area! And they are all ready to answer any questions and take care of your individual needs during your summer holiday. What a wonderful thought! :-)

At last... a warm welcome!
We have all had to limit ourselves in recent months, particularly in terms of interpersonal relations. Relaxations in the rules now mean we can finally get a little closer to one another, even if we still have to keep a certain distance. Yet a proper conversation, a friendly laugh, exchanges, reunions or meeting new people – all these are good for the soul, especially when on holiday! Hospitality has always been a priority for our private landlords, and they are especially looking forward NOW to finally welcoming you back again. They can not only ensure the longed-for holiday mood, but also offer the long-awaited warm welcome.

I’m looking forward to relaxing and being myself again on holiday. And what about you? What are you most looking forward to? :-)

Yours from the heart, Sabine.
