Happy New Year! Are you one of those people who make
New Year’s resolutions? Or are your resolutions from last year still unachieved? 😉 Getting in shape, living healthier, or giving up bad habits are among the most popular.
What do you want to achieve this year?
As friendly private landlords, we at südtirol privat recommend that you
do something good for yourself. Put yourself at the centre of your efforts and goals. Do what your heart tells you to do. Then 2025 is going to be your year.
How does it work?
Make New Year’s resolutions that you’re sure you can achieve in the long term. Because classic resolutions like the ones mentioned before are usually discarded after just a few weeks, as they’re too general and too ambitious. According to statistics, over a quarter of New Year’s resolutions are abandoned after just a few weeks. But you know you can do better than that. We recommend
taking small but realistic steps that will improve your well-being after a short time and are easy to integrate into your everyday life.
Suggestions for your New Year’s resolutions
Enough theory! Let’s see what realistic and effective resolutions look like. We’ve collected some
best-of examples just for you:
• On [weekday] I’ll go for a 30-minute walk/run/swim/climb.
• Once a week, I’ll treat myself to an hour of me-time and do everything I don’t usually have time for.
• I learn to say no to tasks/requests that aren’t good for me.
• I no longer look at my phone after 9 p.m. to improve my sleep quality.
• I spend more time with grandma/grandpa/mum/dad and set a fixed day for this.
• I learn something new (a new language, dance style, sewing, knitting, etc.)
Of course, you can extend and shorten the list as you wish and adapt it to your own needs.
Good luck and see you soon in South Tyrol!
